Well….had a serious computer problem, which precluded me from making any updates. I got the machine back up a couple of weeks ago, but this is the first time I have had the time and inclination to update.
So, the SF trip on Taurus went well. Everyone seemed pleased with my cooking. I really enjoyed the crew and the trip, but man it was frustrating being stuck in the bay for 6 hours without touching land.
The crew seems to be enjoying the food. I am enjoying cooking it. Good to have more purpose on this cruise. The Captain has taken time to teach me some pearls of wisdom. The engineer has been great - teaching me the stuff you don’t usually get taught - how to get on.
Had a week or so off - DeWitt, bless him, drove up to Seattle and picked up my bike and we went down to Oregon together. Got to see Katie and Cooper which was great. Bought a truck, so now i am more reasonable. The bike really wasn’t going to be practical to go to work.
