Been all over Dutch Harbor, and finally found reliable, yet very slow internet access. We are offloading cargo at the APL dock today, and they are very slow. Our 3 guys and 2 forklifts loaded the barge in Nakneck in a 15 hours. They have been at it for 13 and haven’t gotten half unloaded - and thats with 3 times the crew and a full container lift.
We are scheduled to return to Naknek on Wednesday - then back here and then south to Seattle. Still don’t have an ETA. Sometime between the 18th and the 8th.
Been working nonstop until this afternoon. Got to get off the boat today and had someone else cook me dinner at a restaurant. Wasn’t a great burger, but was nice to have someone else give it to me.
